The tech survival kit is something I put together so I know I’m covered in any tech emergency. There are too many times I forgot a cable to charge my phone, didn’t have anything to write with or needed extra storage to transfer files. This kit is to help out in those situations.
This case is flexible, allowing it to fit easier inside any backpack. It’s designed for tech and has a grid-it setup to organize your gear securely.
Chafon USB Cable:
It has 2 micro usb’s, mini usb, which is nice because not too many people carry this around anymore, a lightning cable and a usb-c cable. All of your bases are covered with this cable, so you won’t have to worry about charging any of your devices. The only gripe I have about this cable is it’s length.
AmiDan USB Cable:
This is longer in case the Chafon cable doesn’t work in a certain situation. It has micro usb, lightning and usb-c cables and is a standard cable length. It’s also more durable than standard cords.
With two cables, you should be able to lend anyone who needs a cable a helping hand.
Any pair will do. These headphones aren’t meant for long listening sessions with the best audio quality. These are here if you forget your main headphones or they broke, and you need headphones to replace them for a short period of time. Mine are AKG’s that came with my Galaxy s8.
Anker 4 Port USB Hub:
Useful with computers with limited usb ports. Most computers are focused on the cloud and taking away usb ports, so this is a good look for those who have a lot of peripherals to connect.
We live in a digital age, but sometimes you still need a pen or pencil.
SanDisk 32GB Ultra Class 10 SDHC
You can never have enough storage. I have a micro sd adaptor since I have a micro sd card for my s8. I have a SD card so I’m not hurting if I forget to pack my main one or if I run out of space when I’m doing photography. I have an old thumb drive to transfer small files around. With cloud services and the ability to use my phone as a drive, I’m using this less. But it’s helpful when you’re in a spot with no internet and forgot the cord to your phone.
Belkin Surge Protector:
Turns one outlet into three, and has two usb ports that can be used to charge your devices. It’s useful for those times when you’re at a coffee shop or airport and there’s only one outlet, but you need to charge multiple devices. It’s also helpful if you have a friend that needs to charge as well.
Ravpower Portable Charger:
This is a good thing to have in your backpack or car just in case you run into a tech emergency. The items in this kit are pretty inexpensive, and all of them can be found on Amazon.
