About

I'm Eric Auzenne, an experience strategist based in Los Angeles. I burned out on motion design after a decade of it and moved into UX around 2017 because I kept caring more about whether something actually worked for people than whether it looked cool. Now I work in fintech, healthcare, and enterprise systems, finding where the design fails the human inside it and fixing that. I start with the actual person in their actual context: field research, ride-alongs, sitting in rooms while real work happens. A dispatcher I worked with at a parts company put it plainly: the moment his truck left the lot, his world went dark until it came back. That's the problem stated by the person living it. My job is finding that before I touch the brief. If you're working on something complex and hard to use and want someone who thinks about it differently, I'd like to talk.
